Kelingking Beach, also known as T-Rex Bay due to its cliff-like shape with the head of a Tyrannosaurus rex, is one of the most famous and iconic beaches on the island of Nusa Penida, Bali, Indonesia. This beach is located in the southwest part of the island and offers stunning and dramatic views. The main sight at Kelingking Beach is the high and steep cliffs that rise above the blue sea. This view creates a spectacular panorama and is the main attraction for visitors. Access to this beach requires walking down rather steep stairs, but the physical effort will pay off with the stunning views of the beach below. After reaching the beach, you will be greeted by soft white sand and beautiful sea water. The waves at this beach are usually quite strong, so it’s important to be careful when swimming or playing in the water. For those who want to enjoy the beauty of the beach from above, there are hilltops around the beach which also provide incredible views.
While it may not offer the same vantage point as the first one, the abundance of photo props around Paluang Cliff and the fact that it’s only minutes of walk away from Kelingking point makes it an equally worthy spot to visit to feed your social media craze.
Broken Beach, also known as Pasih Uug, is one of the famous tourist destinations on Nusa Penida Island, Bali, Indonesia. This place offers a very unique and amazing view. Broken Beach is a spectacular geological formation. This is a natural bay formed by sea erosion, creating a stunning natural curve with seawater flowing into the lake which is nestled amidst a steep cliff. This beach is surrounded by high and steep cliffs, providing a dramatic view. As you walk around the edge of the cliff, you will be presented with an amazing view of the blue natural lake below. The waves from the sea enter through a gap in the cliff, creating a very beautiful and interesting sight. Due to the calmness of the water in the lake, Broken Beach is not suitable for swimming. However, the views and atmosphere of this beach make it the perfect place to relax, take pictures, or just enjoy the natural beauty of nature.
Angel’s Billabong is another popular tourist destination on Nusa Penida Island, Bali, Indonesia. This place is near Broken Beach (Pasih Uug) and is one of the favorite destinations for tourists visiting this island. Angel’s Billabong is a stunning natural formation of rock that forms on top of a cliff and provides a natural pool with crystal clear sea water. This pool looks like a “natural bathing pool” and is the result of sea water erosion which forms unique fissures and patterns in the rock. The water flowing in and out of the pool depends on the tides and waves. The scenery at Angel’s Billabong is very beautiful, with clear blue sea water and views of majestic cliffs. Visitors can enjoy the opportunity to swim or just soak in this natural pool, but care must be taken as the waves and water conditions can change suddenly.
Crystal Bay is a beautiful and popular beach on Nusa Penida Island, Bali, Indonesia.
